SE; Release housing before it destroys your good intentions

SE, My plea to you....and PLEASE dear lord read this.
You saw how in 4.2 basically all wards were bought out within the first hour....Knowing that...how in all the seven lords did you think having the market locked for MORE than 1 day (or 2 days at most) was a good idea. People wanted extra housing wards BECAUSE RMT's and Spoof chars scooped them up on the release of 4.2. Did you really think that MOVING (because you've fixed nothing at this point) the issue to FC-owners was a good idea?
RELEASE personal housing NOW !! Before you the next liveletter will have you cussing at people who saw no other way than to "cheat" a system...The way you're locking the housing market now is doing EVEN more harm than it does good because legit people have to leave their FC to start a spoof-FC IF they want a home and players who don't want to cheat will eventually be cheated out of their homes because of RMT-spoof accounts; ALT-barons and spoof FC's

I think you mean 4.1 because there are still plenty of houses left from 4.2.

I'm one of the ones who supported FC being given priority first, but even I'm scratching my head as to why they haven't given an update with a time frame yet. I haven't really seen much purchasing going on since the first few days on my server, so I think everybody's pretty much done. Now all they're doing is giving people time to make fake FC's to pick up a house for themselves because they're getting tired of waiting.

tl;dr I think keeping the moratorium much longer than a week or two is going to cause more harm than good.

It's been a week and a half, if they don't release private housing in 4.25 then I'd start getting on their ass about it. At least let them see their plan through.

The auto demolition timer was reactivated with patch 4.2, maybe their waiting for the first full cycle of this to complete before lifting the restrictions. This would possibly free up more plots and also gauge how effective the pause was in the first place.

Just a theory I have no evidence of course.

It's easy for me to say I'm happy with the priority they gave to Free Company's as our very active FC was able to get a large plot in our dream location. However every one else who is homeless right now deserves at least some idea how long these restrictions will last.

There were demolitions starting the day 4.2 dropped (a week before the new wards were released). I was happy they gave priority to FCs as well, but I expected that to last a few days to maybe a couple weeks. We're just a little past 1 week atm, so maybe they'll let people buy next week. Waiting until 4.25 seems like overkill imo.
