Butler/Maid outfits finally on the Mogstation! Go nuts guys!

Am I missing something over the pricing rage or what? Literally every item released of late has been $18 - Carbuncle attire, Far Eastern attire, Matriarch/Patriarch attire, Fugu attire, Noble/Gentleman/Beauty's attire... The pricing for this shouldn't be new or surprising in any way.

The only thing that was released somewhat recently that was cheaper was Edda's garb and I suspect that's because 1.) there's no male equivalent, and 2.) it comes with an entirely separate pack of weapon skins you can buy for another $7.

has to do with what i said earlier. A lot of people with the eu version never got a promo where it was basically free, account wide, and both sets.

The original promotions for these were around spending $20 total, getting an additional product for that money and getting codes for both outfits being sold here, a mount, two masks and some other minor in-game items like aetheryte tickets. All of that being account wide. There were a number of issues with the EU promotions, so when they finally release it on the mogstation so people can just purchase it, it's overpriced, piecemealed and missing items.

While these items are slightly different, giving +5 to a stat and +30% exp under level 30, my personal opinion is that it's not worth the price point.

Also just saying, they didn't have to put a damn thing on the mogstation, it's like people complain they don't have items and when they are put on mogstation "I don't want to spend money." I am done with this thread lol Imma go dance around in my new outfit :3 sorry people are disappointed in the price.

I already have the items via the promotion years ago.

These are now the only $18 sets that don't have their dumb set bonus crap. And are locked to a single character unless you feel like spending even more.

Even Edda wasn't this much and they could have easily charged $18.

And in NA people could just preorder stuff, get their codes and delete the preorder thus paying no single dollar.. Also even for those that had to pay more (which is probably due to shipping costs) they at least got a real product for the price and the items on top of that. And lets not forget that we got two outfits, masks, a mount and some other smaller stuff for that price...which was also for the whole account and not single character like those are.

Its not like they were able to give everyone around the world the fair chance to get them in the past. Lots of EU countries and other countries around the world never even got the chance at all..and now they have to pay even more if they want that and cant even have every item..

It is ridiculous on how people really believed that the buttler and maid outfit was going to be sold as the promotion. For a reason it was a promotion. Don't forget this company is a business. They will never make something that will be not benefitial to them.

If anyone bring up the "multiple" times SE did something for the consumers, they don't see the big picture. It is always better to loss a low amount of profit than lossing a great amount of consumers. I don't think there will be any changes to the price since we have previous examples of previous complains but was not equal to the amount of people than bought "expensive" items.

I don't see how charging for these outfits a symbolic amount akin to the moogle suit or the old scion outfits would be an economic loss. They already essentially gave it away. I am fully aware that the amount of people who bought it because they can and don't care likely exceed the people who are complaining about the price tag.

The issue is that they will keep raising prices or limiting things to see how much they can milk it.

Please tell me how selling them in a bundle, account wide with every item included for the same price that most people had to pay for the promotion gives them a bad deal? We are talking about digital items that do not cost anything to reproduce them..so every single bundle they would have sold would have only increased their income..

I am one of the people that already got it through one promotion and I dont see how I or others would go away from FF14 if they are selling it for the same price with the same items and conditions on the mog station..especially since we did get real things out of that while those that buy it on the mog station will only get digital goods..sorry but your arguments dont make any sense too me..heck I dare to say that overpricing such things might lose them more customers than charging the same price that others had to pay.

Still wouldn't feel so bad about the pricing if the whole mog station thing didn't feel like it's supposed to be a shiny object to distract from housing.
