Because they're pushing their luck to see just how far they can go and still have acceptable sales numbers. If no one bought at this price, they'd back-peddle right quick and lower the price or make the items account wide, but there are enough people out there with no concept of value that I'm sure they'll make enough to justify keeping the price as-is.

Mogstations prices have been slowly creeping higher and higher. I'd speak up about it before it becomes an EA sized issue. Is it EA bad yet, no, but it's still worse than it used to be.



Where did I ever say the money was going to help fund the game? I said I tolerated it because it gave access to old event items and full character changes at a not too awful price which is more than a lot of MMOs do. I'm not nearly so forgiving of it now.

The prices are getting a bit outrageous now, honestly I stopped buying from the Mogstation the day Lyse outfit came out, and to be fair, I should have stopped much sooner. I'll only ever buy with the inevitable sales in the future

I'm surprised as well.

I had many troubles to get both promotions from Spain. For the Chocobo one I had a friend who bought stuff in Australia and then sent me the code, and the Cloud mount one I had to wait until the last promotion to get it, and I (all) had problems with that website because it ran out of stock every now and then.

Yet, many people who WANTED to participate in that promotion, couldn't do it, and it wasn't their fault.

I think the pricing is wrong, and the "one character only" is also wrong.
These outfits weren't from an accessible event like Christmass event. This was from a limited hard-to-access and unfair event/promotion. The pricing should be symbolic at this point.

Well done SE, you somehow managed to mess this up too...so those that missed out of these campaigns because they simply did not have one, now need to even pay much more than those that at least got the chance..These are digital goods that you created..there is no extra amount of money involved in putting those in the cash shop and I am not really sure why others can get every single item in one set, while the rest has to pay much more and does not even get the mount..and on top of that its single character only...wow just wow...Yoshidas words about not using the cash shop to earn money but to give people the chance to get the items again are not holding up with such prices..

I feel bad for everyone that never even had the chance to get the codes the first time and that now have to pay a huge a mount of cash for one set if they want to have it on more than one character or have both versions..

$18 for one set for one character, The promotion basically gave you this stuff for free if you bought something from amazon if I remember correctly?

The promo version is storable in the armoire as well, this is a separate version of the items that is probably not storable.

I'm not sure why SE thinks making us pay to be inconvenienced is good business.

This Mog Station deal is better than some EU deals which are what prompted the request to get these outfits in the Mog Station in the first place. The only thing I'm sad to see is the missing mount. It makes me wonder if the cloud mount will ever be available again.

It being single-character only is kinda to be expected when they already went the route of making even promotional items like the codes for the Eorzean Symphony or the Wind-Up Yotsuyu from the art book single-character.

But don't worry, slippery slopes don't exist, it's all optional and don't be entitled and all that.
