Technically...
I believe it would fall under automation.
Which is against the ToS, iirc.
http://support.na.square-enix.com/ru...1&tag=users_en What section would that be under? Please enlighten me. If it's 2.1 it could be done under the system setting from the game and key bind / macro from there. So same thing either way you look at it if on PC. Only difference is that your using in game key binding for your keyboard provided by SE. I use SE interface not third party.

Here
Activities that Negatively Affect Game Balance
Third-Party Programs or Tools. SQUARE ENIX strictly prohibits the use of third-party programs or tools – including programs and tools that permit automated or “absentee” play – in FINAL FANTASY XIV. Accordingly, the following activities are prohibited:
· Modifying, analyzing, integrating, and/or reverse engineering game software or data.
· Creating, distributing, using, or promoting utilities that interact with the game.
· Exploiting SQUARE ENIX programming bugs or glitches.
· Automating gameplay processes.
Did you even read the part that I mentioned using the in game options -.-; apparently not.
Eh, you asked for the part of the ToS where it mentions automation. It's very open to debate, because what do we consider a third party tool to automate something? Gaming keyboards require a software to organize said macros, and they automate in-game functions. But these rules are more focused on botting if anything.
