    You know - hospital surgery waiting room thoughts - I really wish I could buy dungeon gear via other methods. I don't know if I can stomach running Skalla again to get the tank equipment that hasn't dropped once yet for me.

    Hell I ran it 3 times last night to finish capping tomes. MAN did those runs depress me. I'm hesitant to post the results because they are UGLY.

    Well, it might show you where SE's priorities are. Omega Savage is completely obsolete now. Deltascape Savage will be too after a time. A mount or minion will never become obsolete.
    I feel this is the correct answer. As Koko wrote, glamour is the end game. Many of those "simple" pieces are worn like Olympic medals.
