I love the new event!

I said a similar thing about the last seasonal event, but I think it would be better if they didn’t try for the “inspirational plot” running around and just go straight into the “our special event is now underway, come and sign up to join the games” part of it.

(Am I supposed to care about these event characters more than I did? Have you guys been seeing their story unfold over multiple years’ events?)

If I remember correctly it was either last year or the year before last that the main event NPC hooked up with her lover, and I believe it was with the player's help if you did the quests (I didn't do the full thing, I just remember they weren't always together.) But yes there is a small storyline for many of the events.

I've done the event on all of my characters at this point. All 16 of them and I never had a problem with it. Most of the people I did it with, it was their first time, and all I had to do was say "Stay close, and get each others gates." (paraphrasing, I put my actual routine in a pose above this.) I think the lowest I got with randoms was 70. And even then you can get the full amount of 3 chocolates.

I had more trouble with people that had done it before, and with friends.

It was a really enjoyable even, and I am hoping the new area of the sanctuary is accessible soon.

or you could... I dont know, communicate with the other person. strangers are friends you havent met. Ive gotten high ranks in this from just talking to the other person and guiding them through the maze then talking through the card matching game.

Yes! In fact you get different dialogue if you've participated in the previous year's events where they recognize you and even mention the old adventures.

I also have no friends but I had no problems with the people I met. I thought this was a nice event and I did it three times on both my characters which got me everything offered and two balloons. After seeing the size of these balloons I could have done with just one, they are very big.

I bought a balloon and saw "tabletop" and expected a small decoration. Took it home and .. woah.. So I got a 2nd wheelbarrow instead of another balloon.

I enjoyed the event as well. I didnt care for the mounts myself. I was hoping for more Valentine's day theme glams but its all good (*^-^*) Discord voice chat really came in handy with this event!
