Remember most of the things tanaka was said wrong by the translate. Remember when tanaka said the game would be full Voice over? then he said it was a bad translate? i think the level thing was also a mix translate maybe half the things we though was awesome was really not said right.

At this point, couldn't they get in some sort of trouble for false advertising? Obviously they have bigger things to worry about, but it is interesting how out of date that is. (stances is the first thing that comes to mind)

I don't follow many MMOs, is it typical to let the main site with game info/trailers/teasers stay out of date? The Lodestone is more up to date, but they don't change a lot of the info as patches make the info wrong.

But it's funny because the website makes FFXIV sound like a cross between a social simulator (like second life) and some amazing adventure quest where everything matters.

Also yeah a lot of that info was planned but the game ended up being rushed out which can change everything really.

the offensive/defensive stance system for pug was scraped some where along the line. It was something that looked really cool on paper but just did not work in game.

Wow it looks like it's going to have an interesting story and lots of cutscenes that SE is known for. And chocobos!
The story of the world seems interesting it's probably going to be explained more through interesting quests and cutscenes.....................
