8 man dungeons and MSQ

I'm pretty sure the language requirement is what's holding you back. I know that when I learned about it and turned on all languages my quest became MUCH faster;

Thanks for your response all. The key takeaway form this is the use of the party finder. I will try this. Seriously, I waited hours using the duty finder and it didn't pop so there I'm thinking this totally sucks balls. How can you have a 8 man dungeon tied to the MSQ? Made me so angry that i'd spent all my time doing the MSQ only to be F$%^ed by the dumbass game mechanic. Aomeone asked the question about what upgrade I bought. It was to heavensward, just so I could get through the last 3 quests of ARR. I feel I should have gone all the way to Stormblood, but I didn't wanna miss out on too much.

I guess I'll try party finder, so thanks for that tip. Plus, I will look into the language settings also. They shouldn't have made it this mystifying to understand.

The language setting used to be done in a much easier way in which they already appear in the upper right hand corner upon opening the duty finder tab. You could click on one of the four language letters to toggle on/off language preferences.

However, said settings became somewhat user-unfriendly when they were grouped under the small gray cogwheel circle on the upper left hand corner in the Duty Finder tab. As a result, most first timers and/or people who weren't around during the earlier patches would miss this feature quite often.
