I'd rather have "the XI way" then pretty much anything else. We need some danger in our content.

And yet, everything similar to the XI way is not all that liked by the XIV community.

Diadem 1.0 RNG grinds, bombed. Hunts, everyone complains if they don't make it in time, people who do them in small groups are vilified. People are already complaining about Eureka even though it hasnt been released yet, and it takes several of the more base ideas from XI.
