    Stormblood Without Heavensward

    When I originally started playing FFXIV I bought the basic game plus Heavensward. Now I want to buy Stormblood, but it comes with Heavenward which I've already paid for. Why do you not sell Stormblood without Heavensward at a reduced price? It feels like I am buying Heavensward twice, which is the only reason I have not yet bought Stormblood. $39.99 for Stormblood alone seems a bit much. Don't get me wrong, I love the game and whether or not you change your pricing I will eventually buy it. I just don't like the feeling that in this particular case I'm being treated unfairly.

    Stormblood has always been that price and has always come with Heavensward. This is simply to make it cheaper for new players so they don't have to buy the expansions separately. Heavensward cost that much when it was new as well I believe.

    Basically you buy stormblood and get heavensward free.

    Unlucky you, In Europe you can buy Stormblood seperately but I don't think an EU game can be combined with a US game.

    At least this gives me hope. If Europe has it separately, maybe NA will eventually have it that way as well. If it was $29.99 for Stormblood (without Heavensward), I would have already bought it.

    Likely all old expansion packs will be included in whatever new expac SE sells. You're not paying for HW, it's just a bonus if you don't have it. And when 5.0 drops, you'll get HW and SB with it if you don't already have them. etc.

    You are probably right; they'll just add another $10 to the price. At the rate I'm levelling 5.0 will probably be out before I need to buy Stormblood :P
