Not necessarily. There are still class specific skills that will not change. A Gld with an axe using Gld exclusive skills would be a Gld with an axe not a Mrd. In addition they have certain offensive abilities as well. As with this patch, next patch MRD will still be able to go offensive and defensive if they like, while Gld can only play defensively, for example.

Yup but MRD has always been this teams golden class.

Personally I think its crappy that they are still allowing them to excell in both area's but hey ho its SE.

What I would have prefered is that they restricted WAR to a DD role for now and then when adding a second job allowed them to tank and did the reverse for GLA.
