    I don't know what you're on about.

I can use it in the wilderness (and I have). I have multiple outfits on different jobs too. If -you- can't figure out how to use it, that's another subject altogether, but don't tell me I can't do things that I'm already doing :b

    /micon 3 gearset
    /gearset change 3 2

If your 3rd gearset is your MNK, it would add the MNK class icon as the macro icon, and then change you to your monk gearset and add glamourplate 2. I know I used these all the time to switch classes so not having to wait to mouse over names or memorise where they're located helps. (It also works for DOL/DOH.)
    You can even use
/micon "Soul of the X" item
to have the job stones as the icon.

You'll have to unshare and share the bars int he macro too otherwise with the jobs switching around it loses the icon as it moves from armory to and from equipped.

    According to the release notes.
Applying a glamour plate is only supposed to work while in a main town.

If you're able to apply plates outside the towns, you should report it as a bug.
