I've been a happy private owner of a small for years (since first introduction of housing, in fact). Seriously, that little island plot in Lavender Beds is better IMO than a good amount of Mediums and even some Larges out there. The biggest problem is that FCs have more people, and that inherently means more things they want added to the house furnishings-wise, and an FC trying to make everyone happy with a small is just no bueno.
Same here, my SO and I were planning on buying an "Individual" house along with my friend. That is 3 people which is now going to have to cram into a small house, either that or we have to leave our FC (That we love being in) just to get a house which was one of the biggest parts of the game for us. This is unfair and 100% preventable.
im on behemoth, and just Mist alone there are 22 Medium plots available accross all wards... I think you will be fine
Completely agree with OP. As a new player I've been waiting months to get a home, new wards open up and I find a spot I like. I figure that if a FC grabs the small plot hey, it is what ti is... but a individual transfers and takes it from me before they open it? Wtf is up with crap.
Remember there are multiple wards and subdivisions. There is a chance that your dream plot is still available in one of them, so be sure to check before you write it off when personal purchases open up. Good luck with it!Completely agree with OP. Doesn't change the fact it is inherently unfair to allow individuals to transfer before allowing first time home buyers the same equal chance.
Not really. The point was to give FC a shot at getting a house. Players relocating does not decrease the overall number of houses available since their prior house becomes vacant. Allowing new individuals to grab houses would decrease the total number of houses available to FC.
