Housing restrictions not fair for individuals.

Well, I managed to relocate my house to a nicer plot, but sadly my husband (who doesn't own any houses, or have a FC) couldn't buy a house.

It's not exactly fair to those who have waited years for a house of their own, and still cannot get one :/

Not only that, but with all the server congestion, and odd GMT time? Not very fair at all.

There are still countless Small Plots available at the moment, it's not like he won't still have his chance once individuals are allowed to purchase new plots. It's absolutely fair that FCs get dibs on Large and Medium houses.

The whole housing system is still broken though, it's just not quite as bad as before.

It's not fair for the individuals? How about all the FC Owners that have been waiting years for a house in order to access basic functions for FC's like Buffs, Gardening, and Airships?

I'm sorry but its much more important for FC's to be able to get houses than individual players. FC's actually need the houses for a good majority of their functions. Individuals don't need them, they want them.

Locking individual sales of houses, temporarily, was the fairest way to go about this honestly.

The whole system is unfair, I understand the need for FCs to get houses but you also have to be realistic. FCs had a full week to buy all of the land up that was being relinquished where individuals didn't. My SO and I worked our A$$es off to collect enough money for a medium house only to not even have an opportunity to buy what we want, I just can't see how a small FC of 4 or 5 people would get priority over anyone else. The biggest issue is that SE is screwing over individuals by not adding in enough housing, the fact that the ward count wasn't at least DOUBLED is a total joke.

You're right, it is absolutely fair that FCs get dibs on Large and Medium houses. However you're missing the main point of the post, it's that the situation is UNFAIR for individuals. Why in gods name is it so hard for Square Enix to put in enough houses for everyone? It's a fucking game that we're investing our time into, they can create as much virtual space as they want to. I love FFXIV, but this whole thing is honestly ruining the enjoyment of the game for players like us.

FFXIV easily has, from a technical standpoint, the worst player housing I've ever seen in an MMORPG, you won't see me disagreeing here. The point remains that there are still countless Small and even quite a few non-Shirogane Medium plots available. They're not all gone, individuals will still have their chance; so at least wait until you've actually been screwed before complaining x)

Problem is that small plots are a total waste of time, honestly they shouldn't even exist. But don't worry, I plan to sit here and watch as anything worth buying gets snatched up seeing as we have no choice at this point. Again, I don't see how it's so hard to actually add more wards. The only thing they are doing is pissing off the community and turning people off of games like this.

I've seen people do some really amazing things with the limited space that Small Plots have.
