SE: Can we get back skip cutscene in Main Scenarios?

Bearing in mind most "newbies" in NN are fakes.....alts.....sorry...but I strongly disagree with that opinion...certainly is the case on my server.

SE didn't just pull this "change" out of the "you know what of their backsides" and just put it in place for giggles...something drove it to be sure.

They sure did, and it is not the first time they make hasty decisions. OH LOOK at the glam changes, How long ago since they first announced to to giving us this pre alpha system? feast chat? Them actually showing these metrics and talking about it with us? nope jut blindsided us with a change where we get no choice in the matter.

You can not see full versions of either MSQ in the Inn. You can see the first Cutscene from "Rock the Castrum" and the Last cutscene from "The Ultimate Weapon". None of the others.
I did see most of them because no one else in the group gave a flying f..k that I was the first time in there. I stated right at the beginning that this was my first run on these and no one reacted. When I watched the first Cutscene in The Ultimate Weapon right after leaving the elevator I got the 15sec timer for closing of the fight, so I stopped the CS and tried to figure out what to do next. Everyone left allready.
They just left me standing there at the Magitek maschines and didn't reply all the way throught the bossfights when I asked what I had to do to advance. At first I thought they wait for me after they cleared the first fight. I was in there as whm mind you.
It was a positive thing though because it gave me the chance to see the cutscene as they were intended. In the Game while playing, not on youtube after beeing rushed through there..

Those two missions had the most important cutscenes of ARR. I am new to this game and wanted to get to the end of this legit, without shortcuts! I was robbed the final Battle and I hope that there are enough mentors out there in the game who do relate and take their time to help new players to enjoy these fights.

The cutscenes are available at the inn, they're just not filed under those quests. There's a separate tab for dungeons, and all the other cutscenes are in there. I didn't find them straight away either.

I do not know if there is a sollution that can satisfy everone. I get people who only do it for the reward and I think they should at least get the best possible result out if it if they are forced to watch those cutscenes again and again.

Actually with the forced cutscenes now, I’d recommend running the entire dungeon again if you want to watch them all in sequence! You get more context of what’s happening, and actually experience the fights (some of which you might have also missed if people left you behind) rather than just going back out to the inn room between scenes.

It's really pain and rage, can't skip it.

I don't want be boring and tire watch many same cutscenes in Duty Roulette

The simplest way you can influence this is to quit doing MSQ roulette period. If enough people would stop chasing the carrot(and it's not even a good carrot compared to what you have to do to retrieve it), SE might decide to revert it to get the bodies flowing again.

Maybe they can implement a skip option when "8/8 members agree" to do so or just skip it when they is no new player to this duty.

That would just lead to try witch hunt or kick the person saying no, leaving the situation worse then if SE just left things alone.

This was a simple issue to address, revert this change completely, have a tutorial for new people on what a PF is and suggesting to use it and how to use it when they get to these dungeons, giving that dialog warning these have long cut scenes in them, like with anything else that has long CS in this game. Non-cutscene skipping shouldn't be a thing anywhere.

I Never Queued for MSQ ever since SE implemented this cutscene thing.

My Question is Whats wrong with carrying 1st timers by doing this roulette, letting them enjoy the MSQ scenes and us recieving our bonus altogether ?
