Change it back to how it was, one hour for some boring awful dungeons is absurd.

If you think they are so boring and awful, then don't run them. Simple as that.
Castrum Meridanium and Praetorium need to be run once to get through the MSQ. After that single run they are completely optional.
Most of my Main Scenario roulette runs do not have a single person. Ironically enough, we kind of enjoyed some chats about patches, story, gameplay, etc., during the cutscenes. In some other instances, I also check on my FC chat, linkshells, Discord, and other FFXIV forums.
As far as time spent on runs go, Castrum Meridianum isn't a problem in terms of time spent. It's still less than 30 minutes on average with a good group (faster than the most of my average Skalla runs.) Praetorium can be too long for repeated plays though.
YMMV on the return of poetic tomes and exp earned. The exp is satisfactory for me and I use poetic tomes for Shire Accessories to turn in to GC. I can get ventures, GC mats, food (for extra EXP and secondary stats), and various other items without breaking the bank (in this case, gil.)

"Break a warrior's body, and he will thirst for vengeance. Break his spirit, and he will clamor for peace. Judge my methods distasteful if you will - but know that I seek to end this conflict, not prolong it." - Yadovv Gah, Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn
A: Don't run it if you don't like it.
B: Stop making new threads about the same subject.
"Don't run it if you don't like it" is an awfully shortsighted answer to the problem.
New players heavily rely on veteran players to fill the party.
Following your suggestions, the number of players running those dungeons will decrease, thus making it more difficult for new players to clear the content.
It's a lose-lose situation, really.
And while I'd usually support the notion of not creating dozens of threads about the same topic, the sheer number of complaints speak a clear language.
Its certainly better than seeing people scream and complain over something they have control over..that being..not wasting your time.
Id rather see you NOT do it..than do it..then ditch like everyone else....and make the problem worse.
But refusing to participate in a roulette you do not like...makes the queues fall short...newbies complain....SE listens...and they will listen to them sooner than they will listen to you...because its why they did what they did in the first place.
In any case....you have control over what you choose to spend your time on.
Well.. if you dont like reading complaints about people... then dont read them? Its certainly better than seeing people scream and complain over something they have control over..that being..not wasting your time.

You know exactly what kind of conversation will take place on these threads and yet you decide to join the fray and complaint about people complaining.
You are worse than the people you complaint about.
