New glamour dresser [FEEDBACK]

Ehm i was dumb and i tried to test it out.
I placed my midas sch book in the dresser but then i regreted it after i got a watning msg and i wanted to remove it from the dresser and i ended up destroying my midas sch book....

I am really dumb but at the same time i want to give SE feedback.
Let us have the item back after placing it in the glamour dresser.
This is stupid too. Cuse from now on ill just stick to prisms..

EDIT: now i tried out using healer af1 set. After i applied ast and sch got the base item.
But when i tried to remove it i just cant, i dont know how to explain this but im stuck with the base thing
And i cannot change by using dispell prisms or use prisms. I dont want to put tantalus pants in the glamour dresser just to wear it.
I dont know im blt being constructive but this glamour dresser is annoying. Let me use prisms again

I agree that the new system is not the best, but we knew from the original announcement that items put into it would be destroyed. And even if we hadn't, why on earth would you think testing the system with a rare item was a good idea?

Let me use prisms again

You can still use prisms. The new system doesn't replace the old one, it works alongside it.

Next time take the time to read the manual<patch notes> before you do something like that....its a 1...no more than 2 page document on this very subject alone.

And your thinking about it in the wrong way.

The things you put in the glamour dresser are strictly for glamours....not actual items you intend to use elsewhere.
Don't blame SE or criticize them if you fail to pay attention to the notes they publish.

Yes..its got some challenges....yes..its not perfect...but its a major improvement for those who have little space due to just glamour gear.

As already mentioned - old system is still there...use as you see fit.

Even without patch notes this system is easily understood. I went in thinking it would be way more complicated than it really is. It's actually very simple. You put an item in, that item is no longer an item but an appearance instead. You can then dye that appearance and create outfits on the plates, which you can then further dye individually if need be.

The game gives prompts and warnings when you put things in, as well as when you take them out that the item is going to be destroyed. If you willy nilly clicked buttons and destroyed your rare gear permanently, then I'm sorry to say that is on you.

When you put it in the dresser, it's not in your inventory any more, so not accessible by the old glamour interface.

Though it's not a perfect solution, you can work around it by putting the single item on a plate and then applying the plate, because empty slots have no effect on your current appearance.

Thank you for the explanation. How do you get the plate off again? How do you revert back to the original state your gear was in? At the end of each patch I take the glams off my raid gear and take a picture of it just as a memory thing for the tier. Would I no longer be able to do that?
