Some thoughts about Hien (MSQ)
At first I was a bit annoyed that he wanted to kill Tsuyu but just stopped because of Gosetsus weak (imo) arguments (that maybe it was the plan of the heaven). But thinking about it a bit more I think he only tested them both. I mean he did plan out the negotiation with Alphinaud so I cant just see how he suddenly changes something up. So he probably already wanted to let her live a free life if she stays as Tsuyu and let her go with the Garleans if she got her memories back..maybe drawing the sword out was a test to see if Tsuyu is just acting innocent and how Gosetsu will react to it. He seemingly got some answers because he did say that Gosetsu changed. (Sorry if I am stating the obvious, but I really thought that he did plan on killing her there but maybe that first impression was wrong)
I just really hope that they have enough common sense and never let Tsuyu stay near any important meeting or telling someone something important when she is nearby...because if she remembers her past and changes sides than this could give her some nice information about Doma which would be bad.
Also I am not sure if its a good idea to send Yotsuyu with them. I mean who knows what she might remember that will help Garlemald.
About the dungeon Hells Lid and Byakko:
I am still a bit annoyed that the only reason why we are doing this, is because Alphinaud was being stupid...he somehow can come up with battle strategies and is allowed to plan a deal but he does not even look at the price tag for the sword? (Especially bitter since Gosetsu seems to not be in any kind of shape to fight..) And then he says that he will use his own money to pay the scions back but somehow Tataru refuses and instead sends us to that dungeon? That was just so bad. Why not take his money? Why let the WoL do another really dangerous thing even though we just stopped a war and helped Hien? Sadly we could not really say something at that scene otherwise my answer would have been quite negative..(Why not let Hien pay it back since he is a king? Why not take some parts of the treasure from last patch since the Alphy, Arenvald and the WoL risked their life to get it?)
I really wish that they would have used another reason for this dungeon because its just made me feel even more like I want to go as far away from the scions as possible..especially since Alphinaud could have paid it from his own money but instead they wanted to let the WoL do the hard work again..(well Tataru how about we toss you in there and let you fend for yourself..<_<) Maybe there could have been an earthquake while we are at the rubin sea and then we could have gotten the letter from the turtle and thus we started our journey through the dungeon.
The dungeon itself was not that memorable but I liked the part after that. The animals are just so cute and I like the idea of such powerful animals hiding away. Also I absolutely loved it that Byakko was not another random primal or an enemy..it was so nice to just help him overcome his anger (and one aweseome fight too) and I am looking forward to more of this story.

On Hell's Lid
Well Alphy's "little" mistake doesn't actually matter too much when it comes to us going in there. Sorobahn was going to tell us about it prior to that whole event if it hadn't been for the matter of Gosetsu and Tsuya. It just added another "humorous" reason for us to go and do it.
@Dualblade: Then why not just leave that reason out. It just makes him look incompetent.
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
Yeah, the bashing and teasing Alphinaud receives doesn't sit well with me. He has proven himself as far more valuable to the Warrior of Light than many other characters at this point.

I saw it less as Alphinaud being bashed and more it being that he (and Alisae) are practically Sharlean nobles (their dad is a well-known Speaker in the Forum) and money problems aren't exactly something they're used to worrying about. Tutaru, on the other hand, has had to worry about that kind of stuff for a very long time (comes from a family of impoverished Ul'dah merchants).
Asphinaud is also not the only person who has this kind of class difference from the rest of the characters going on either. It's one of the things that frustrates both Jessie and Nero about Cid. Jessie is a Huyr who grew up in the Garlean capitol and Nero is from rural Garlemald. Cid is the son of the guy who revolutionized Garlemald's tech industry. Yeah...
About the ending....
I dont think this is the "Zenos" we know.
Don't forget that the Ascian's met with the Emperor shortly after "we" killed Zenos and reallllly..."upset" him.
Ascians have been known to pilfer bodies after all....its likely an ascian making use of the body.

I think that Asahi might turn on Garlemald. Given that he lived in Doma, he might still care for his people, and could get the Fordola treatment.

I like Alphy, I really do. But while he HAS indeed proven himself many times he also is still a child and has room to grow.
Hell we were even given the option to pay for it personally and many players probably couldn't afford it...or maybe they could given the current housing situation. Still for now it was just a little thing that will hopefully resolve with Alphy learning to manage money better and not just spend willy-nilly. Whether there are any further consequences will be seen later on.

With him being the Zenos Fan Club President/super fanboy, I don't think he has any bit of care for his fellow Domans at all; in his mind, "NOTICE ME ZENOS SENPAI!!" He wouldn't betray the homeland of his dear lord.
