honestly, considering that not only the original system is in place but also upgraded complaining about an additional feature you don't want to use feels incredibly stupid :/

1. You can edit a post to get around the 1k chara limit.
2. People are angry about it because it's development time that went into something that doesn't benefit as many people as it could've and doesn't live up to its potential. Compared to a lot of things we received in this patch, there's so much they could've - and should've - prioritized better. Instead we got this and iono DRK is still broken. That's a lot of why people are frustrated.

That's pretty selfish.
I'm not calling you personally selfish, but if people are mad because "you didn't work on the part I enjoy in this game" and think that people who do glamour stuff AREN'T a large piece of the player base? That's more on them than SE. People say "Glamour is endgame" as a joke, but for a lot of us it kinda is. A big part of it anyway. I rerun dungeons solo for it. I farm tokens and rep for it. Hell, I'll level crafting classes and gathering classes for it.
all of this to make my character look how I want in the situations I put them in. Literally days of game time for that.

To be fair, I think Billy meant if they couldn't implement the glamour dresser properly, their time would be better invested in other areas until things were ironed out. Basically, don't release content that looks more like a beta test than anything else.

2. you make it sound as if we only got the dresser. we got dungeons, a new raid, msq content, and the saddlebags as well. saddlebags alone would have been great, not to mention the simplification of glamour prisms. maybe this doesn't "live up to its full potential" but 1) what ever actually does? 2) this only got announced a month ago. if they announced it a long time ago and kept teasing features that they didn't deliver on that'd be one thing, but instead they announced something that was coming out soon and we all came up with features in our own heads and are upset because they didn't have any of the ones we thought of. s2g, someone on another thread called the glamour dresser "pre-alpha". as someone who's a QA tester irl I had to laugh.
