To live Each day is a Hell of a Miracle
A Magical Eorzean Blaze should have the power to withstand a Magical Eorzean wind. It's pretty simple, if wind is scaled to magical magnitudes and fire is not, then well you get FF14.
Aww Still no dev response lets try to keep this thread ontopic please , i would really like to see only 1 element wheel
To live Each day is a Hell of a Miracle
If I had to guess anything it'll "have to wait til 2.0"...
No-one used the ele wheel in the first place cause my fire spell hit the mob who's weak to thunder for the same dmg so who cares lol
Then what's the point of an elemental wheel at all if it doesn't work properly. I ran into this same thing myself and was wondering "What's the point?".
Well, Fire and Thunder aren't on the same wheel so I don't know if that's the best comparison.
If anything, if you can cast Fire on wind-based mobs and it does the same amount of damage as it normally would, then the elemental wheel is just a pretty little infographic with no practical purpose in the game. The reverse should hold true against ice-based mobs, fire should do more damage.
Pyromancer Joe enters the bar.
Bumps into Aeromancer Steve, who in turn, spills his drink on his girlfriend.
Aeromancer Steve stands up to face him.
Pyromancer Joe glares with his burning eyes and begrudgenly says .....
"What are you looking at windbag"........
Aeromancer Steve simply raises his arm summoning his wind power..........
Removes all of the air with in 2 feet of Pyromancer Joe in any direction.
Fire instantly suffocates and dies, so does Pyromancer Joe.
