DRK 4.2 Buff is a .50 - .60% DPS increase.

Even with a 3% Dark Knights would still be worthless with their lack of utility and the inability to bring slash buff.
Even with the buff DRK will be the worst choice for MT or OT and your party will be weaker for choosing you over a WAR or PLD.
A double DRK group would also be at a massive disadvantage where a double WAR or PLD group would be perfectly fine.
The devs must either not play and thus don't understand or don't care because the entire playerbase knows DRK is useless.
Yes they CAN clear any content but it will be much harder than if they were any other class.
Groups will be at a disadvantage just by your presence.
I don't understand how or why they are turning a blind eye to such a glaringly flawed class.
PLD and WAR still both do more DPS than DRK and they have multiple tools that drk has no answer for.

The context of when the game came out when everyone complained about it on steam and what not prompted the response from the creator, Keji Inafune when everyone was displeased where he said "it's better than nothing guys so love it". It's kinda what SE did with Drk here's these buffs now go my pretties go raid! Where it's buffs by technicality.

Even before this patch, Warrior was being heavily favored with bigger, much more frequent adjustments, including that addition of a party-shield SiO after Stormblood released. It's a bit weird how Warrior gets so much more dev attention, especially when most of the feedback at least on EN forums was requests for DRK improvements. I don't know about JP, but over here the general feeling was WAR is fine and please don't change it. I think DRK has the most interesting gameplay style of the 3 tanks especially after WAR gets made more basic with pretty much no gauge management necessary. Just a shame that DRK seems to get neglected when it comes to patch buffs even though it was never the strongest.
