We used to have those back in ARR when the vocal minority decided at launch to rush to level 50 as fast as possible and skip through all the story and cutscene dialog as fast as possible.
Then they came on to forums and claimed the game was dying because there wasnt enough end game and claimed that players were leaving by the droves XD

Some of the stuff i read back was unreal.They even went as far as claiming that SE's profits were on a huge downward spiral and they were struggling with sales.
Then again you see it in any huge online game.Somebody doesnt get what they want so they decide to make a thread 'insert game title is dying'

Just wondering how many are going "I had enough" when it comes to overcharging us for inventory while they do not not address anything, like giving us a pre alpha glam system.For those that do not know, the big notes from the patch notes is how the added glam system handles dyes poorly, you need to destroy gear to make more room in the tiny 200 space, going back to HW days in making pld useless and war op, and finally the ability to rent a 9th retainer.

I really find it insulting to be offered almost zero fixes for inventory issues and glam issues and yet we get a 9th retainer to rent. Doesn't this look really shady to people? How come we have not got free ones yet if they need more time to fix things? I am simply amazed, this is the second expansion and things are not fixed.

Only good update coming out of 4.2 is housing, something that could been done with the release of HW.

zero fixes? 270 slots, 999 stack items and more items movable to the armoire.

That's at least a retainer and a half worth of inventory right there.

I won't lie, though - as much as I love this game there's an increasing amount of things (including the stuff referenced in my signature) that is causing me to be very wary. If Eureka ends up being a flop in the same way as Diadem then I may very well take a step back and consider returning to WoW.

Which is something I don't really want to do, but FFXIV is on thin ice these days for me.

Sitting afk for 1 hour & forced to watch cutscenes, that you saw #131545 times already is an improvement, indeed.
Speedrun does not have to do anything with this. People will avoid those dungeons like plague after 4.2.

You don't need to be a Nastradamus to predict how those changes will impact the game and experience for new players. Hint: it's not an improvement.

Nice sarcasm. Pitty you don't put that much effort into reading. Again, all the changes to THE INVENTORY are improvements. The MSQ Roulette is more like a necessary evil. But it IS necessary.

I don’t main most of the jobs being affected - including any of the tanks - so most of the stuff isn’t of much concern to me.

I don’t like the 10 Plate limit, but I’ll be able to finally glamour my Armorer differently from my Weaver, and that’s nice. I expect all 10 Plates will be used on the 8 crafting classes (complete with glowing-when-used tools) and two of teh gathering classes.

So, unsub over these? TC, what are you smoking?
