I'm looking forward to building a sub. I hope I can paint it yellow.

I have never let my sub run out. I generally purchase 6 month sub at a time.
Sure, there is period where i don't login at all cause i find the game boring but i still support the game.
Sitting afk for 1 hour & forced to watch cutscenes, that you saw #131545 times already is an improvement, indeed.
Speedrun does not have to do anything with this. People will avoid those dungeons like plague after 4.2.
You don't need to be a Nastradamus to predict how those changes will impact the game and experience for new players. Hint: it's not an improvement.
LOL ok, you know I was with you till you started spouting the PLD nonsense.
I'm not quitting, but I will say the dresser is mostly useless for me. I'll probably use it for season outfits, since armoire stuff will work through it. But destroy my glamour items, no.
Hell no.
The only way I'm letting my house fall into auto-demolition is if I'm dead or in a coma for 46 days.
Homeowners aren't allowed to cancel their subs unless we know with 100% certainty that we're finished with the game and never returning.
I just can't wrap my head around people feeling 200 slots to store gear that exists just for vanity being nowhere near enough room.
How much gear to you people hoard?
But, no. We get to conbine items from the larger stacks. We get 70 more slots for storing things we don't immediately need. We get a 200 slot sized storage to put all that level 1 or otherwise useless for all but vanity gear. We get a tool to vanity full outfits and save them. We get an armoir expansion, further clearing out gear storage.
How is it so many players can't just sell or toss junk?
I wouldn't call PLD useless. Napkin math shows the nerf may only be a less than 2% nerf to their DPS, which will still be much better than HW PLD. I'm irritated that they basically tacked on DRK's "buffs", and WAR will be interesting to see (I suppose). But I'm not a tank main, so I wouldn't quit over that.
MSQ roulette is going to be a shite-fest. I'm going to queue up for it a few times after 4.2 to see how it is, but I fully expect a really long queue after the first couple days (since not everyone reads the patch notes and won't know about the changes), and people still doing their best to speed-run by tabbing through cutscene text super quickly. The changes to Prae and Castrum are not going to make things more pleasant for the bean sprouts, in my opinion.
The Glamour Dresser still needs a lot of work. I'm not using it for anything remotely valuable until they remove the "your item is destroyed if you ever choose to remove it" nonsense. And fix the dyeing thing. The slots...I got back and forth on. I have a lot of little pieces I use frequently that will eat up space quickly (accessories, the flower corsage headpieces, different weapons that aren't completed relics), so I wonder if 200 would be enough for me. But again, I'm not using it for anything I can't quickly craft or obtain again if need be--I was hoping to use it for different AF sets but I'll have to get duplicates of the 290 sets since they cannot be removed once placed in there, and Eureka is supposed to be all about "relic armor", which will be our new AF gear, I'm certain. For my relics, definitely only putting replicas in there. I like to keep my completed relics as tokens of my hard work, and I don't want them lost.
Duty Recorder was DoA already. Twitch does it better. There are too many arbitrary restrictions, and the fact that you can only use it in the Jade Stoa (if everyone agrees) is silly (especially when the devs showcased it in V4S during the Live Letter). I will give them that it's best to view the duty from each player in the party, but it's still vastly inferior to other streaming programs/websites.
Housing will be... interesting. I am cautiously optimistic but trying to not have many expectations after the fiasco that was 4.1 Shirogane release.
What would really cause a lot of unsubscribing would be if, when 4.25 hits, and Eureka bombs. I think the developers are aware of this. People are already fed up with the repetitiveness of design that has dated back to ARR, so if Eureka isn't this "new and exciting, never before seen content", there are going to be a lot of angry individuals out here. I think so, anyways.

Devs do what they want to do >_> is what I've observed from a few other games, including this one. Mass cancellations aren't going to sound any alarms. It certainly didn't do anything for Aion, Perfect World, etc.
So no.
Everyone's aware the current glamour system isn't going away, right?
...right?
I don't think I'll be making use of the the newer system aside from mulching some old dungeon gear from 15-50 content I've hoarded away. Been paying since the legacy campaign in 1.0 and don't have any plans to stop now.
