SE, Please consider removing EX trials from the Mentor Roulette.

Each time I queue for mentor roulette I'm actually hoping to get an EX-primal because I feel my time might be spend best there. I've cleared quite a few different EX-trials this way too.

If theres something that should be removed from mentor roulette its guildhests... they dont actually require a mentor. EX-primals are the content that really does - and you want to remove that because you're lazy and want an easy ride...

Yes, they don't need a mentor. No, they shouldn't be removed because the Mentor roulette, in addition to actually mentoring and helping people, is also meant to help fill queues.

Thats why I said "if" ;P I dont actually want them to be removed either - just wanted to point out how silly it would be to have Bockmann in this mentor-roulette but not Shiva EX.

Yep. I love making Ex primals work. They're a proper challenge and very fulfilling to mentor through. Whenever I get a guildhest I feel slightly deflated. I relish in the challenge.

Always felt these had no place in the mentor roulette myself, so yeah, I'm all for their removal.

They're just a waste of time whenever they do show up because DF parties rarely complete them. People need to learn to use the PF or more coordinated groups to complete these (assuming they don't just unsync them), like they would with any other harder raid content.

Yet over in JP, DF parties tend to do all their content in DF....or at least, so I've been hearing lately.

I kinda avoid mentor roulette for that reason I feel like I'm useless in the level 50 ex fight since I never did the content when it was relevant(and to be honest I don't want to spend the time to learn lvl 50 synced ex content I'd rather spend the time learning relevant harder content).

I wouldn't even worry about that. Chances are some of the other people in your party will be useless too.

Can we ban mentors from being in my mentor roulette? I'm supposed to be helping noobs, not other mentors...

I think the worry is reasonable. People like ^ don't understand that not everyone has been playing the game since launch.

I do worry though as a mentor the content I enter I should be able to help with, since I can't help with lvl 50 ex primals so I avoid the roulette. I'm glad to hear there are people who do fine with them though when they get ex primals for mentor roullete its just not for me.
