Helped an FC member do the final boss of vault by joining in progress as WHM.

I... died due to taking aggro even with lucid to a defiance warrior. Run still cleared barely since they had to do 25% hp without a healer but... I died from aggro to a defiance warrior. I specifically queued as WHM just so I can assize all of the holy flames at the same time but now I'm kinda wishing I went as AST or SCH.

Leveling an alt on Cactuar to play with friends. Just got to Susano. I'm leveling RDM and WHM on this character and I queue as RDM since I don't feel like healing. I am 65 on RDM thanks to daily roulettes and thank god I eas because Verraise put in some work.

8 verraises overall, 3 personal deaths. First death I pulled off the tank with my melee combo even with Diversion up, second death I was trapped in a Gaol that didn't get broken and third death was just to overflow Ukehi damage.

Somehow this party cleared but it was sloppy.

Got 2 run that strike me memorable yesterday.

- the first one, typical DF levelling and from start to finish not one soul say a word, no hello or thankyou, no comm, nothing. No error either, smooth run from start to finish, the moment boss dead everyone just leave. Kinda creepy lol

- pug on 50/60 DF end up with most nerd/otaku party ever, the whole run we talk (as in chat) about latest upcoming game like MHW and latest anime on air, we spend almost an hour total inside the DG because i remember when i leave there is like 10 minutes left lol

Leveling Summoner - I Pull Aurum Vale on leveling roulette. *cringe*

Got a white mage and a newbie dark knight and a dragoon.

The White Mage is bossy...saying don't do this..do that....pull all the way..etc.

2nd Boss fight the white mage botches a heal and the dark knight goes down. Can't remember if the white mage survived or not - I raised the dark knight and we resume moving forward.

But what takes the cake....is the final boss fight.
The Dark Knight keeps getting a face full of bad breath - and the white mage gets in over his head - gets killed - while me and the Dragoon are holding our own.

So what does the white mage do? Leaves the battle field and respawns at entrance...just as I was about to swiftcast+raise

I asked why he left...he complained he was stacked/with adds/and was doomed from the start.

Needless to say I was not amused...considering the guy obviously forgot 3 key points.
1: I had raise..and he saw it.
2: I was still alive.
3: YOU NEVER LEAVE THE FIELD OF BATTLE UNTIL YOUR SURE YOUR NOT GONNA RECOVER.

Was quick to point out that he wasn't about to get blamed for the wipe....funny that.
I blew a LB2 next run on the 2nd spawn of morbol seeds to prevent a repeat of history as I had burned my aetherpool. Boss died 30 seconds later.

Yikes, this reminded me of a similar run I had a few weeks back, ironically both at Aurum Vale and while leveling my SMN. Except it was during the second boss where everyone decided to respawn before I could use my rez. By the time I was the last one left in the fight, the boss had just a tiny amount of HP left. Unfortunately my Egi got killed, leaving me no time to re-summon (with Swiftcast and cooldown) and instead running in circles away from the boss spamming Ruin 2 until it died.

In other news, had an odd run at Skalla last night. Had a bossy NIN and WHM pair whose characters had the same last name. NIN immediately says in chat at the start that they were "just here to ninja the gear" or something like that. Told (not asked, told) the tank to pull most of the mobs after the first boss so that I (RDM) could use the LB (which had not charged up to a full gauge yet). Tank went for it, so I instead had to spam Scatter and build up E. Moulinet to burn down the mobs like normal. By the time the LB gauge was finally charged up we were down to just three mobs, so it was pointless to use it at that point. Things were relatively quiet until we got to the last few pulls before the end boss, which NIN again tells us to pull them all at once and use LB (which panned out this time). Right before the end boss, NIN tells the tank to pull the boss into his Doton, to which the tank understandably replied "wut" when they deployed the Doton immediately at the start of the fight right by the entrance, leaving the boss to be tanked at the north end for the entire fight... I only wish the tank would have stuck around long enough after for me to give my comm to, because that was a lot for them to put up with.

I just had a run of Kugane that made me feel... weird.

I was running as my WHM as per usual. Pulls were a bit weird with the tank having some issues holding hate and constantly getting the team cleaved but whatever. The thing that got me feeling kind of weird was the tank was using Clemency a lot, which is generally fine in some situations, and the RDM was casting Vercure quite a bit too. I mean I can understand if you were getting low or if I was leaving you pretty low but when you are at 50% and you have Regen ticking, and I have Tetra ready, why would you cast Clemency on yourself TWICE? It was so weird. The RDM used Vercure during the first boss after the stack mechanic... after I had already cast Cure III. And they used Vercure on ME. I was really confused. Vercures and Clemencies were being thrown around a lot and I didn't really like it. >_> I know what I'm doing, please just do damage to stuff please.

Dear God, I've been playing SMN a bunch lately, and the healer urge to keep everyone in a certain health threshold is such a difficult switch in my brain to turn off, especially when physic is RIGHT THERE, taunting me with it's awful potency on SMN. I've burned Swiftcasts trying rez people the same time the actual healer is @-@ It's pain, but that's why I like SMN.

I just got my third alts DPS to 70 so I can gear her tank (Lol I am too nervous to run the current expert dungeons with her as tank cause of how low her ilv is, and I'd rather go in as a low ilv dps than a tank)

I FINALLY unlock expert, and queue for it for the first time~ It's The Drowned City of Skalla, yay! I'm kinda tired of it at this point, and Ala Mhigo is my favorite, but I was still happy cause it drops high ilv gear.

I say hello, and the only one that replies is the healer, a WHM, ok whatever! Most are not that chatty now a days. We go in, and the first thing to annoy me is, the tank does single pulls. I look at their gear. It is pretty low so I think nothing of it.

Next pull I notice the tank just keeps everything faced at the party. Whatever, I ADJUST.

We get to the boss room and the tank just sits there for a bit. I'm DRG and my Blood of the Dragon is ticking down, so I edge closer hoping to save it cause I have two eyes up and jump ready for Nastrond. The healer and BLM are close behind me. WHERE IS THE TANK?!

The kelpie walks over to us and aggros to me, and welp whatever I save my Blood of the Dragon, it's too late to turn back. The tank finally runs in and the fight goes smoothly.

The we move on, no one says a thing till the pull before the next boss, the tank needs to afk for a restroom break. Whatever, we wait, and the tank comes back and we head to the next boss.

Midfight the LB pops and I use it. And this is when things get stupid for me.

The tank says "stop using limits yo"

And I am stunned for a moment, but manage to reply. "wut" shortly followed by "why?"

Their reply is, and I have the convo in my log still so I am quoting this EXACTLY. "why would you: a) so early in the fight" "b) before the final boss"

and I'm just scoffing at this point. I kinda just wanna leave it alone and get through this slow stupid run, and I am nervous that I'll get kicked for disagreeing. But I decide that letting them know that THAT IS THE STUPIDEST THING THEY COULD HAVE EVER SAID AND THAT THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR THINKING THAT WAS A GOOD REASON AND THAT THEY SHOULD SHUT UP AND LET ME DO MY JOB AND LEARN HOW TO DO THERE JOB PROPERLY BEFORE TELLING OTHERS HOW TO DO THEIR JOB.

-breathes- Anyways. I reply with "It does matter when it recharges before the last boss..." We're mid fight when I'm typing so I'm dodging AOEs while I type and such. "That is a waste" I continue, trying to say it in the most reasonable way to make them realize their stupid logic.

They reply "but like" "we literally dont need it."

I roll my eyes. The fight ends around here and I keep typing. "Its extra dmg" it quiet and I am just like really flabbergasted. I am hoping someone else will speak up, and like let me know I'm not crazy and they are being stupid. "Are you serious?" "That makes 0 sense" I say before I sprint to catch up.

They reply "i mean" ... "never needed it on any boss outside final"

I'm face palming. Ok.... Whatever I reply. "you never need it period but you should never sit on it till the last boss"

Their reply is just "-shrug-"

Whatever. I don't say anything else. but I grin on the inside when the LB recharges in the pull before the final boss, cause it proves my point right? Though let me tell you. The last pull was a nightmare, as the tank dragged the adds around and faced them at me and the heals and we had to keep running away.

We beat the last boss relatively easy thanks to the WHM. Though the tank got hit with the confuse EVERY SINGLE TIME.

The icing on the cake is the BLM who was quiet the whole time before says "slowest tank ever" before leaving, and I'm just LAUGHING.

I only say "Happy journeys" and leave, cause I'm just done with it.

But I did peek at my contacts to see what server they were all from.

I'm not even surprised the PLD was from Balmung.

I'm yet to reach 70, so my DR alliance is only up to dun scaith, but I always get the CT ones (like most people, I heard). anyhoo, I'm really bad at multitasking at this game, I don't usually chat while in an instance, but this last run I tried, because I thought I could do ST in my sleep; switching among party and FC chat, and an LS, occasionally being a lazy DPS. then I committed a taboo: I prematurely pulled Amon because I clicked on a skill instead of the chat bar, I was so ashamed and thankfully I didn't cause a wipe but man, not again. I hate being the careless teammate ������

I know Balmung is infamous for many types of particular players, but are we supposed to be claiming the bad ones now too?
