Viera as the next new race~ Show your support

They should just pull a Highlander/Midlander and create two clans, one is the Ivalice Viera and the other one is the smaller one that we saw in their concept arts. I mean if they are not planning on adding more faces, long hairstyles etc, might aswell go all out and give players more option when it comes to creating a Viera.

^ this. maybe i'm just having trouble leaving the scope of my imagination but personally, i wouldn't even consider a "smaller, more lalafell-esque" version to be considered a viera at all. yes ik if anything, xiv would adapt a rabbit like race into something unique to the game but viera, as we know them, are the complete opposite of cute and cuddly blobs. (or maybe just as i know/see them, xii was my first introduction to the race.)

so i guess if xiv does implement them or something similar, just don't call them viera. i feel it would definitely add more flexibility to the lore, appearance, etc.

SE always chooses the easier method when it comes to anything, we all know it. They wont add the ff12 viera just because of the feet & and its too much work (poor SE but thats how this mmorpg business is running). So IF we ever get a Viera race, its going to be something like this

Honestly, if they are just going to add the "cute" version I'd personally rather they don't bother at all. FF12 Viera, or nothing.

I like the cute version, I prefer XII's version though. I'm down for having the clans represent both.

Because that's extra work for SE's apparently small FFXIV team (and it'd be a sort of kick in the crotch for people who wanted tall fierce female Au Ra).
