Slightly relevant to the discussion going on a page or so back, my character is only in ironworks and level 58 so I skip the level roulette and only do the alliance and 50/60. Should be fine, I get I get the original Labyrinth with a friend (dragoon), more people die throughout than usual, I die, we had fun. 50/60 roulette puts me and my friend in tam tara hard mode, also fun. Every seems fine at the start with double pulls (healer being new) and the only ones really doing aoe are me and the white mage. Which is fine, I guess. Ninja is only really using doton I think it's called and I don't hear death blossom. I'm too busy trying to remember paladin because I haven't been in a dungeon with the character in a while. Then there is the first boss. I tell everyone stack on the butt and don't touch the adds. This explanation has worked with everyone else, but I guess there's a first time for everything. First round of adds we we get two stacks of vulnerability (dragoon friend on discord is saying "Wasn't me"). Still everything is fine until the white mage peels off from the group and immediately gets swarmed and killed. He ends up blaming me of course and I try to give an explanation as to why we stack and don't attack the adds to no comment from the healer. I end up opening the coffins because I wasn't going to explain why the tank isn't the best person to do it since the first boss went so well. I explain the rest of the bosses, the ninja and white mage seem to be buddies by the end of the dungeon, we all say our thanks and leave. I thought about what could have been said differently about the first boss and I guess I could ask if they want the long explanation or the short one. I guess I have to include to not move with the markers since one attracts the adds and the other kills them so it just makes it easier to stack and wail on the boss. The good thing that came out of the dungeon is my friend got the snazzy bard coat and him being close to recommended minimum item level got to experience the aoe pain on the end boss as how they were originally intended. It makes me remember how that dungeon was a bit of a challenge when it first came out and learning the first boss was fun.
