This is 100% correct.

This change is only a bandaid fix. They need to take the time (a whole Xpac if they have to) and rebuild their infrastructure so it can be future-proof.

I'd rather they take the time and bring everything up to speed with the standards of modern AAA MMOs than apply any more bandaids that only delay the inevitable.
