Welcome to The Raid Progression Thread Season 4.5 (Yay for Ultimate off-seasons)!

Going Forward I will only be accepting clears for O4S and Ultimate Clears. I hope this raid tier is a decent difficulty increase over Omega so that we can have some actual Progression thread action going on! I also look forward to the stories of frustrations, defeat, and finally the success all across the server.

The question still remains... who will take server first, will it be 69420 or perhaps Fantasy Earth Zero maybe an underdog that we never would have expected!

That said let me leave some food for thought...

Today we face the three biggest challenges from the 2.0 era of this game all in the same fight. The task will be daunting and hopefully SE isn't screwing us over and is actually gonna be giving us truly difficult content. Remember that XIV is just a game and whether you are a hardcore raider or a casual raider that if you practice it enough you will clear it. That said there is no reason to push yourself to exhaustion which will just decrease your progress potential.

Lastly make sure you are raiding with people with a like mind about content. This is a big problem in the raiding community we have here in FFXIV. Many times players join a static because they want to raid however their drive to clear and push content is either higher or lower than that of the static which eventually causes issues. This is especially true with the ultimate tier as ideally it will take much longer to clear and will require good synergy between static members.

After a month of being blocked out of the forums because of "Session key failed" something something...

Good Evening Everyone and Happy Holidays!

For the last month when I've attempted to log into the forums it was giving me some session key failed to verify or some crazy crap like that... but now that I am back I have news about the Upcoming Raid tier and how I plan to handle Ultimate Coil.

First, I have created the SigmaScape Tracking area on the main post. If you see a group that you know no longer exists or will not be raiding please let me know here or in-game. Additionally only groups that cleared O4S were migrated to the new table. If two weeks after sigma has been released your group has not cleared S1/O5 and is currently in the table you will be removed until you clear S1/O5. Lastly if you group does still exist however your name has changed let me know so that I can date that information as well.

Second, As we currently have 0 clears of Ultimate on Adamantoise, to my knowledge. So as we head into a new tier of raids with higher level item gear. If SquareEnix does allow you to go into ultimate with higher tier gear without item level syncing you down I will create a new color marker for Ultimate. Continuing with the assumption that SE will not enforce an item level sync for Ultimate I will only be logging the first three clears. HOWEVER if SE does enforce an item level sync and does not change the fight(nerf) I will continue to capture Ultimate data per normal until the 2nd in the Ultimate series is released (Patch 4.3)
