Good Evening Everyone,

My name is Mad Maxine, formerly Maxi Kau, and Asuna Yuuki prior to that(Man name changes were a thing for a bit).

I have been an active member of the Adamantoise Community from the launch of FFXIV 2.0. Since then I have met many of you and had great times and others of you can go hop in a fire. Either way you slice it the message is pretty clear...

My time here with FFXIV and the Adamantoise Community is coming to a close soon. When my static does finally clear UCOB I will be leaving the game for an undefined amount of time. (The ball is in SE's court on this one) One day SE may make an MMO again that brings together a community through strife like it once did with FFXI. (Yes FFXI was drama ridden and could be toxic at times) but it provided one key feature. The requirement of working as a team to complete complex tasks, giving you only a tiny shot a reward, forcing you to do it more often and on a regular basis and while you were doing the same thing the content it was generally engaging and forced continuous variations in team work.

That said, FFXIV on the other hand is a cash grab that they float some occasional content to the players who have been here from the beginning to keep dragging you along. Sadly it just doesn't have its hooks in as deep as they once were. While we do have a nice patch ahead of us with some fun looking content it just wasn't enough (lol, gotta love some fake drama right?)

In closing the Another Adamantoise Progression Thread - REBORN will no longer be maintained and should be picked up by someone else if they wish to continue it... Otherwise as always!
