    Please remove esuna from cross role actions

    I'd like SE to please reconsider this cause tbh i think it's inclusion as a role action is an awful idea. Esuna is situational of course and cleanable debuffs are few and far in between, but when it could be useful it's more then likely not even gonna be an option for either healer and those debuffs are running their full duration on a team mate or even killing them(doom), not for lack of noticing it's there but cause neither healer even bothered to take it lol.


    And they have a good reason for that cause it shouldn't even be a role action. Let's take whm for example, SE saved whm in sb and made it the brute force healer it should have always been, but that didn't come with a price cause they got screwed with role actions. 5 better suited role actions you select are things that the class got stripped of and you want it back. Thats divine seal (largesse) cleric stance, protect, esuna, shroud of saints (lucid dreaming). You need swiftcast, now you have to make a decision if you can afford to take rescue or E4E, two strong choices but usually at the expense of a combat protect and esuna.

    Esuna, leeches and exalted detriment should be given back to their respective healers. That's at the very least.

    I don't think anyone would complain about having Esuna be put back into the Healer's native toolkit but we can only hope this happens. Im sure they will do something interesting with Role actions as a whole eventually because SE likes to surprise us with new revamped systems consistently.

    I think more elegant solution is raising or removing limit on number of role actions taken instead of making multiple duplicates of certain spells that are needed on all jobs across roles. Raise/Resurrection/Ascend could also be combined into one spell called Life that way, and tidy up any other duplicates that exist.

    Esuna and Provoke are definitely two skill that should become baseline.

    I mean, the point of these skill is customisation. There's no customisation in removing Doom or 1min Stun out of someone or simply being able to do a tank swap.

    It would also be nice to have Lucid Dream baseline (or our mp regeneration boosted and Lucid Dream nerfed, it just gives back too much mana atm to be considered "optional")

    while i agree the cleanses should be given back to their respective healers, rescue is a waste of a slot unless you're trolling and e4e is essentially only really good for dungeon content.

    Agree, Esuna should be part of the standard toolkit (or other names, though I wouldn't really care if they decided to put Esuna itself to all healers without changing back the skill names to their older versions).

    Another heal buffer, different from the existing ones, should be put as a role action in its place, maybe a powerful temporary crit rate boost.

    Hardly. We've had a lot of content in 4.0/4.1 with knockbacks. Not every class has immunities to these knockbacks. It can also allow DPS to LB at times that would otherwise be too dangerous.

    Dark Knight, Machinist, and Bard are the only classes eithout knockback/ draw in immunities. DRK has plunge and the other two are the most mobile classes in the game. If a DPS lb's during a dangerous time they earned that floor and with the amount of input-response lag Rescue has they'll more than likely die either way.

    Rescue's uses are entirely too niche and coupled with the length of its cooldown it is entirely not worth the slot it takes.

    That and being rescued is annoying.

    Wouldn't that just contribute to the button bloat they are trying to avoid though? Removing the limit of role skills taken would instantly add five. Giving each healer back their own cleanse would actually free up a slot, and/or allow a different role skill to be introduced, and just add one skill to the hotbar which I'm sure most healers have already allocated it anyway. I'm also a bit selfish here, but I also like when each cleanse had its own unique animation and spell name.
