Please make cash-shop stuff earn-able in game

There's been alot of cool stuff coming out in the mog-station lately. I'm thinking specifically of the gold-leaf flooring, emotes and carbuncle mounts. It's starting to feel like the devs are just putting the coolest stuff in the cash-shop. I'd like to politely request that those items be earn-able in game. I've bought mounts and outfits from the cash-shop in the past, but it's starting to feel really gross. I don't even care about the money, it's the principle. Please make all the cool stuff earn-able in game. It's not like we've got too much to do

Besides the seasonal stuff that was already in the game, stuff within the Mogstation was created purely for the Mogstation. They were made with the intention of getting more funds, so there is very little to no chance of these being obtainable in game.

Also the XIV team do get a % of the money from the Mogstation, it's spread out amongst SE, not just the FFVII remake team.

I *may* be a bit salty. Some of it is, though. SE is spending a fortune on it vs just doing a remaster, and now that XIV is revenue positive, some of that is going elsewhere. Why do you think they're so cheap with server resources that it took an outright revolt for them to get the idea that maybe they don't have enough houses available?

Some of the Mog Station money goes to pay the artists that make stuff for Mog Station as well, so in that sense buying more stuff from there encourages more stuff from there. I have noticed that the Stormblood added gear was remarkably ugly vs what's been going into Mog Station lately, which is not a good trend. Hopefully it's just a fluke.

The bulk of new gearsets, minions, and mounts don't go into the cash shop. I'm fine with the current trickle of cash shop only stuff.

They won’t be making them available in game when they know people will pay their sub and an additional amount for cash shop items, unfortunately.

I couldn't agree more regarding this.... SB has been a massive disappointment regarding gear designs so far.

That's just a matter of personal taste. I for one love quite a lot of the SB added gear, and find quite alot of the Mogstation gear ugly. So that's just bad for you that you prefer what is in the shop.
