They should do a "at least 20% of revenue goes back to the FF14 staff bonuses" thing, I'd be more likely to consider the cash shop then.

I *may* be a bit salty. Some of it is, though. SE is spending a fortune on it vs just doing a remaster, and now that XIV is revenue positive, some of that is going elsewhere. Why do you think they're so cheap with server resources that it took an outright revolt for them to get the idea that maybe they don't have enough houses available?

Some of the Mog Station money goes to pay the artists that make stuff for Mog Station as well, so in that sense buying more stuff from there encourages more stuff from there. I have noticed that the Stormblood added gear was remarkably ugly vs what's been going into Mog Station lately, which is not a good trend. Hopefully it's just a fluke.

I couldn't agree more regarding this.... SB has been a massive disappointment regarding gear designs so far.

That's just a matter of personal taste. I for one love quite a lot of the SB added gear, and find quite alot of the Mogstation gear ugly. So that's just bad for you that you prefer what is in the shop.
