OK things making sense now.

i don't know why i remember always getting two rewards... maybe something changed or is just me remembering incorrectly (more likely lol)

I just tested again with a new book and it works just like you said, you have to pick from all three, not the two on the right like i though. wow being missing out on good rewards for not reason at all. well it happens (blame it on the grind)
