This makes sense, and would be consistent with logging out while standing on top of someone's house (you end up in the front/side yard). The houses are there to stand on, yes, but they're also NOT there, so logging out causes our positions to default elsewhere, depending on where we started the climb to that roof.

Compare to Kugane's tower where the platforms are all totally there, so the same issue does not exist.

Yeah, I see your point, and yet it does nothing to undo my opinion that the site needs to be designed better to allow for a cart by some basic function. It would simply be nice to see, though also dangerous for those of us whose restraint are only helped by the lack of cart. *shrugs*
