I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

So true as it's has been proven in this thread and on other fansite threads lol. I hope SE takes a genuine look at this thread and understands how passionate the playerbase is on this subject. It's time SE..It's time.

I agree.. If they dont want to play as one of them DON'T. Keep moving forward in the game with the race you prefer. Just allow the same thing for other players.

Some people are afraid of change. It feels threatening to them. I can understand that I guess. I don't really like change at first sometimes, even if it's a good thing that I may start liking later. XD
This is something that would make many people happy though. I can't imagine too many people being sincerely angry about this.
Besides.. the missing genders are already in the world.. just not in the game yet. It's not something that would be changing the game world.

I agree not only would it make this part of the community happy but posssibly bring back players and intrique new players to pick up the game as well.

This is the perfect case of people not knowing what they want.
this is so not the time for this ^^.Not saying " don´t add them" , saying this discussion is pointless right now.in my opinion.
Also i wonder what % of the population would play a ugly muscular woman .or a feline man.a very , small %.
Im always in favor of more customization , but this is really just cosmetic that needs a lot of work to put into stage , cant afford that for 1 year or 2.

Plus as evidenced by this thread, plenty of people would be ready to create a new character if those missing options were added.
