FF14 Advanced Crafting Guide (Part 4 Stormblood) by Caimie Tsukino

Ch67: The Training of Desynthesis in Stormblood
Supplementary information regarding Master Recipe Books V has also been added to Ch59.

Caimie you didn't even touch PvP gear in your desynthisis guide. Nor CUL, but that's just for dedicated fishers.

My desynthessies are GSM, BSM, and LTH. I have used, and am still using, wolf marks to advance them. ARM can as well.

Well, that's because I rarely do any PvP! All my precious wolf marks are all spent on glamor gear! I have no extra wolf marks for training desyn XD

As to how to level CUL desyn, I have no idea how it works since I don't do fishing in SB. XD

The desyn chapter I added here is mostly to help people realize they can meld or consume food/medicine to increase desyn rate. And also I'm taking the opportunity to update everyone regarding the desyn rate increase (comparing to ARR) from melds and food/medicine in the recent patch.

I'm putting most of my time these days reaching all-70 DoW/DoM status (I'm almost there!), doing dungeons, understanding and having fun with each job Also attempting to clear up all the side quests in every map area! So yeah, no time for PvP, unfortunately! XD

I had the same success with other tools as well. Idk if this changes anything for anyone but might be a time spend priority instead of focusing on one thing over another.

You have one of the most amazing and detailed crafting guides I've ever seen, and I'd hate for it to ever become lost! Do you think you could include an alternate access like a google drive document? I know Google has a cache of all four parts of your guide so I could take those and put it on a google drive document myself, but I wouldn't know how up to date those copies are, and I wasn't sure if you'd be okay with that.

If anything though - thank you for your guides! I've finally managed to get my crafters to 50 across the board and am now trying to get the grasp of HW crafting.

Yeah, ffxivrealm has been down a lot lately... who knows why. It's currently running fine again right now. But like you said, things don't last forever. One day, all of a sudden, ffxivrealm could disappear, so it's good to have some back-ups. I had the HTML files of my guides saved up, so at least I do have some back-ups.

Regarding you distributing them, please be my guest. The moment I published it, I expected it to be treated like everything on the internet - distributing, sharing, or even copying. Not that I liked to be copied, but it's just what happens when something's on the net. In contrary to copying, distributing and sharing is actually a good thing. The original purpose of the guide(s) is to help those who need it. So making it more available to people will only help it achieve its original purpose.

I will try to create an alternative access method. I'm thinking along the lines of just turning it into a big PDF and throwing it onto google drive for sharing. I'll figure something out.

AHH, All-50! So you're a new graduate! Congratulations! Your fun has just begun!!! I'm soooo excited for you!!!

People said HW crafting was tough, but I honestly didn't think so... The 35 durab was a bit trickier than 40 durab on the sense that we shouldn't use Waste Not on it. But otherwise, everything else was quite similar to ARR. And of course, let's not forget Rath's "Platinum" rotation, which pretty much owned 2 star, 3 star and 4 star items in HW.

Since you're still (thankfully) active I wanted to ask first!

I managed to put it together in one document, attempted to match the formatting (c&p didn't preserve any strike-throughs and underlines; and the cache didn't have some of the images), and pulled in extra content (ie, Storm Blood 2 Star Rotations Guide) into it. It's pretty hefty - it's 285 pages, but at least put together in one place! And I'll be happy to transfer ownership of the document to you if you were to email me at mnemyx(at)gmail.

And thank you!! Honestly, I'm far more excited about the Moogle quests haha. But first, getting the right gear and reading up on all the new skills!
