It's actually a significant fashion style in Japan, to the point that people have made references to a "Lolita subculture". Since you're all playing a Japanese game (as in made by Japanese), it's perhaps no harm to know that in Japan, they often adopt foreign words and quickly evolve it into something that had little or no relevance to its original foreign meaning. Lolita fashion being one.

Yes, it's not big if you consider all of the fashion world, but in the Anime/Comic/Game market, it is considered part of common knowledge by now.

But I suppose there's no way to avoid people feeling creepy; not everyone can adjust their first impression when they go from ignorance to being informed. It's why discrimination exists in human society, after all. There are still people who feel a darker shade of skin is dirty and think gays are disgusting. Same thing here. People can be quick to judge and they won't bother learning more about it because it doesn't matter to them either way.

There is, it's called ouji fashion. Here's examples.

And no gender locks would be a real bonus since frills, flounces and Fem Roes aren't exactly a match made in heaven. The more tailored 'masculine' gear would look great.
However, considering how bad the bias is towards female costumes in-game, I'd happily settle for equal treatment and being able to dress up my male alts.

You say that as if we haven't had tons of different clothing styles added to the station/game in between those two releases.

Hint: most of it has been Far Eastern dresses and robes. No Lolita-style silhouettes to be seen.

I'd fully welcome Lolita/Gothic Lolita styles in game. More glamour variation is always good.

Also for the one that posted a shot of Dead or Alive's Marie Rose, I'd LOVE some boots like hers. OR at least the ability to dye the Edda boots.

Also looking again there's a few pieces currently that could allow for pulling off the Ouji look. Not many but within seconds of seeing those images, I thought of a few.

Hands: None, or Punching Gloves cause they go with like, everything.

Didn't say I wanted more eastern glams either, now those I do not want especially in mogstation. And if they do release more lolita styled glamours I hope they release something else to balance it. :P
