I have a hard time "Talking bard" when you jam your E-persona into your post... but I'll attempt to indulge.

Personally as battle stands, having a bard use songs positionally will be difficult at best considering the breakneck speed of fights, the lack of normal "Pulling" mechanics, and the constant movement of party members for optimal WS effects.

Hell if anything some of these issues are going to be compounded by the "Combo" system. It will be interesting how the system works, how many "Songs" can be active at once, the recast and duration of the songs will also be key as well.
