Should Relic be released the first Patch after Expansion?

It should be released upon expansion release, or 2-3 weeks after the same time the "raid" comes out. Just my opinion.

Can’t release it that soon without risking invalidating both Savage and Tomestone weapons, depending on the relic ilvl.

That being said, 4.1 should have included the first relic step. I’m extremely frustrated with the lack of relics, and I’m a raider. There’s nothing for me to do after farming primals/Savage and I would love a relic or two to work on. I’m actually doing old relics to keep myself preoccupied. >.>

It should have definitely been released in 4.1.

They were likely planning to have it in 4.1 or 4.15, but had already said that it'd be heavily involved with Eureka, in interviews prior to the release of Stormblood.

Unfortunately, the delay of Eureka also meant no relic weapon in 4.1(5).

I honestly feel like they should have maybe separated the first step from Eureka to just give the playerbase something—make it something like the first steps of the Zodiac and Anima where you FATE farm (not the best but something), and then do the dungeons. Then they could segue into Eureka. Just really wish they’d given us something.
