Potential Unused Passage in Southern Thanalan?

I hadn't realized that the PvP map was in West Shroud. I didn't pay attention to that.

Yep, the newest Feast Map is in Lichenweed, which was an aetherial gate part of West Shroud in 1.0

Remember that the maps were cut drastically in the transition from 1.0 to 2.0 for which there were many roads, entrances and zones simply "leftover" and that probably will not have any use or be used much later (as Castrum Oriens)

the only maps that got transfered from 1.0 to ARR are the city maps from gridania, Limsa and Ul'Dah.

In the 1.0 maps, looks like Little Ala Mhigo was in Eastern Thanalan and Southern Thanalan didn't have any part of the Sagolii Desert in it. Northern Thanalan was also triple the size it is now.

One broken path that I've noticed seems to run from the Lavender Beds to the East Shroud - there's a path running east out of the Lavender Beds that leads to nothing but a locked gate, and in the southwest corner of the East Shroud there is also a locked gate. I haven't actually checked to see if they're the two sides of the same location, but it seems to add up. (Though I'm not certain whether the Beds are supposed to be northeast or southeast of Gridania?)
