Just because you don't see or hear anything..doesn't mean they don't care.See, that assumes the majority care. They don't. Most people just gloss over PFs that do not appeal to them and aren't bothered by someone using Shinryu to advertise sales. Regardless, it's not different than how the English forums here use General for practically everything. It's far more visible, thus people will see the threads and respond. Those advertisements are doing the same thing.
If we're going to get that technical, then the same rules apply to you. What proof do you have the majority cares about sale adverts? The difference is I can cite the lack of reports and SE's general apathy towards the subject whereas you only have your opinion.
Wow....you really need help...don't you.
This thread and the intentions behind it seem very petty and particular... just go about your day, do people really need to be banned because "Oh no, I had to scroll more to get to the duty I want"?

♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
Not really, the main point is that those "advertisements" promotes RMT. Square Enix does not gain anything from this also.
If i look back, in the past, 90% of "selling runs" in World of Warcraft involved RMT and only 10% involved in-game currency(gold).
But those people (who sell runs for RMT) are not stupid. That's why Discord is a requirement.
When i asked about price in Gil for O4S 1 boss clear /w loot (was interested in prices), they told me it's 150mil in-game immediately and didn't asked for my Discord. Also, Bahamut requires "piloting", so they will ask for your account Login/PW via Discord too.

If it cross server how do you trade Gil to the people helping in clearing that content Im pretty sure their no trade option when in a instance. That made me raised my eyebrow in that aspect at least, because their would require another option outside of the trade feature of the game to obtain just Gil currency. /Shurgs I'm not against sell of clears just wonder about the cross server aspect of it.
Maybe they put it in the cross world PF as people rarely look at the one for the server.
By the same logic crafters who are offering services, people who are selling high-priced items outside of the marketboard or even highpriced items on the marketboard itself are "promoting" RMT because they all create a theoritical incentive to buy gil.
Sorry, the whole "it promotes RMT" sounds like an excuse to get rid of something you dislike, not so much as legit concern...
I agree with ErryK here: This thread (aswell as the other one about mislabeling PFs) seems to be very much targeted against clear-selling or advertisments for that specifically - for no other real reason than people not liking clear-sells if though they dont have to like them and can just ignore them.
IF the PF would be come totally unfunctional because of mislabeled PFs this might be a relevant topic. But as far as I can tell thats not the case. In order for PF to be totally unfunctional you'd need situations were 9 out of 10 PFs would be for something completly different and people unable to find/join/create groups. We're far, far, far from that and personally I dont see the risk of us getting there.
As it stands now there are PFs you want to join and those that you dont want to join - in one of my last posts I illustrated that out of 15 Shinryu PFs 2 were intresting for me. Perfectly normal and fine. And if I have to scroll through 13 or 14 PFs that are useless for me (personally) really doesnt matter.
