    Does it actually tend the gardens or is it just a visual effect?

    edit: Tried it on the fc gardens and if it does tend them, it doesn't record it in the activity log.

    The Striped Ray simply has a visual effect when it's breath ability hits any NPC. Planted seeds in a garden plot are considered NPCs, therefore it might look like it tends to the garden.
