But yes, people can choose to be twats. Doesn't mean any rules should be enforced by the system itself to have punitive action taken on people who do advertise--or on people who don't pull at the pull timer.

And where did I say they should be punished? All I want is a way to blacklist these people without joining their group, and the ability to permanently hide all PF groups made by people on my blacklist.

Sorry, was stuck on the thread's title and mistook your intentions into it. Being able to blacklist straight off of the PF wouldn't be a bad thing.

Just because its not a rule..doesn't mean it can't be an accepted majority standard.
There are many "unwritten" rules in this game that people observe/follow....and 99.999% are simply common sense/common decency/courtesy's.

See, that assumes the majority care. They don't. Most people just gloss over PFs that do not appeal to them and aren't bothered by someone using Shinryu to advertise sales. Regardless, it's no different than how the English forums here use General for practically everything. It's far more visible, thus people will see the threads and respond. Those advertisements are doing the same thing.

If we're going to get that technical, then the same rules apply to you. What proof do you have the majority cares about sale adverts? The difference is I can cite the lack of reports and SE's general apathy towards the subject whereas you only have your opinion.

You have your opinions that "99.999%" of these rules are unwritten, and that the majority of people care about these incorrect adverts, consider them spam, consider them a discourtesy, etc.. But they are opinions and not facts. Same for your percentage regarding unwritten rules. Same regarding Bourne's post that the majority don't care. They are opinions and not facts.

Perhaps people would be more inclined to agree with you if you weren't so downright hostile.
