Quick Chat more toxic than normal chat?

Maybe this is just me but I feel like seeing people spam "Hello" and "Nice job" whenever they die or something bad happens is more degrading and insulting than anything someone could come up with normally. Anyone else feel that way too?

Well, when communication is stifled and replaced with an extremely basic preset that doesn't cover the various situations that can occur that lead to game-changing mistakes, it's no surprise people get upset. That doesn't justify them being nasty, but fact is, the community said this might happen over a year ago, but SE made the conclusion that because participation in PvP went up (ignoring the fact that the chat restriction was put in place the same time that a new map was added to the Feast, and the Garo event started which required Feast participation for one of the rewards) the chat restriction was a positive thing. . .

Yeah, like I'm trying to get into PvP but my matches consist of just everyone spamming "Good Job" whenever they die or something. Like gee, my fault you dashed across the map away from my cover right? lol. It's really not making me want to do anything further in the mode which sucks because I love MMO pvp but this is just... Something else.

If you have some friends who are into it as well, give the custom matches a try. There's no rating gain/loss, BUT! We still have normal chat there.

I struggle to understand SE's direction for Ranked Solo queue, and I really don't have any interest in it anymore personally, but I very much enjoy custom matches. It's the closest we get to the old Feast that didn't blanket silence everyone just because of a few bad apples.

I'd love to see that same nonsense fly with PvE content. . .

Because feast is complex and unless you have knowledge about the medal system, Being able to deal Good dmg and know when to push and fallback you are a liabillity to the team.

Report them, it is a bannable offence. There's no need for someone to be so toxic.

If they do it to the point of distraction, you can report them for it. There's a section now for PVP specific reports and incidents.

It's not. Neither you or GMs can prove if he says Nice Job! with sarcasm.
Only chat spam is bannable, but you need like 10-20 same lines in a row in a short time before it's considered spam.
