Can we please get more cool looking outfits for male characters?

Ideally I'd like the option to wear everything, but at the absolute least, if they're going to add unique items for female characters, there need to be an equal number of unique items added for male characters. And it doesn't count if the unique outfit is actually unique, while the 'unique' male outfit is mostly just a reskin of an existing item, as has happened with several event rewards in the past, as well as the 2.0 Scion gear.

This also makes two female-only releases in a row (Edda and now Lyse), with nothing for guys alongside. If there was any real interest in keeping things balanced, as was promised some time ago, shouldn't there have been a male cosplay outfit released before Lyse's?

Another thing that bothers me about it all is that additional character customisation options are quite clearly a popular request across the board. Balance is definitely important but I can't help but feel that even when someone asks about male exclusive items during a Q&A session the responses are vague and/or dismissive.

I believe Yoshi-P made a point to state in a recent interview that for character customisation to be expanded he needed feedback that was more direct and specific. So it's disheartening that numerous threads such as this have been made over the years only for the core message to not get through...

You're absolutely right, though the same can be said about a LOT of topics he's asked about. They can't possibly cry 'server/PS3/engine/whatever the next scapegoat will be limitations' on simply adding outfits for half or more of the population (considering the census), can they?

Unless that really is it. Maybe there's only a limited amount of space for glamour items on the server, and they've been neglecting male items in order to conserve space for more cute outfits for girls?!

Well, I'm going to give this another nudge...

Hien's outfit was added to the game as of today...but it did not come with his hairstyle as a customisation option which is what a lot of people wanted as expressed multiple times within this thread and others like it.

Not surprised in the least. Extra not surprised that they're charging the same for lightly modified dungeon gear that they did for brand new sets like Lyse's.

I can definitely get behind our manly men having more options available to them, beards, stubble, and muscle sliders; it is my hope that such a thing would not lead to additional genderlocks on gear and customization. Recently female characters got another exclusive glam to them via ryne's outfit. There are many people who play a male character that would love to have her outfit, just as there are many people who play female character that would love to have access to the few male exclusive glamors. If items continue to remain heavily genderlocked, then the dev team will prioritize creating female glamors. Fan service wins in the end. So I agree, but I think this request is falling on deaf ears.
