Mounts for noobs?

Hello again guys! So... I just got through "A realm Reborn" and got my second mount. My question is; what are the easier-to-get mounts after level 50?

I love to collect minions, and now i'm decided to start getting the mounts. Any recommendations?

The Elemental Ponies from the extreme trials are a good choice. People often farm them in PF and you need minimum level 50 to join those.
You still need to unlock the fights however which will require going through the patches after ARR to Heavensward.
You can also unlock the beast tribes and do their daily quests. Eventually you get a mount from each tribe as a reward but it will take some time.

These ones also help you to unlock crafting materials if that's your thing. Along with another way to get items for the Heavensward relic if you decide to do that(though you can farm Poetics which is rather quick these days).

Most mounts come from either Mogstation, extreme primals, collector's editions of the game/expansion, or from achievements(PVP/Mentor being the two that come to mind - PVP has 3-4 mounts I believe, possibly more)

Primals (if you have a good group) can be a very quick and easy farm (easy: Garuda, Shiva, Titan / be mindful of mechanics: Ramuh, Ifrit / go die in a fire: Leviathan). You can also get some decent glam weapons, crafting materials (which make nice bardings for your chocobo, as well as weapons!) and if you level desynth, is a great way to get battlecraft demimateria III, which sell decently. King Mog doesn't have a mount but his crafting items go for a lot, and make some really cute weapons. Plus, once you get 60, they can be a good way to fill your Wonderous Tails, which can sometimes give minions.

Do you have the unicorn already? You get it by levling conjurer up to 30, that will open up a special questline.

The Gold Saucer currently has three mounts aswell - rangging from 200k MGP to 1 Million MGP in costs. Takes a bit of a grind, but its easy enough! Daily mini-cacpot and weekly challenge log are your friends here!

The Zu-Mount is brought back by airships - either ask your FC-leader if they can try to get you one (comes from sector 24) or maybe buy it on the market board...? At least on my server they're not thaaaat expensive anymore.

If you want to truely collect mounts, I recommend getting into PvP and earn yourself a Garo-title! You do that by buying a full set of Garo-gear and then talk to that priestess-NPC again. If you win PvP-battles with that title on you earn achievments unlocking three mounts aswell. However the priestess will not be around forever, so better make sure to get a title now!

If you can find a partner and are willing to pay some real money for it, you can always get married aswell and get a two-seater-wedding-chocobo (have to do the Gold or Platinum-plan for that).

The Gold Saucer currently has three mounts aswell - rangging from 200k MGP to 1 Million MGP in costs. Takes a bit of a grind, but its easy enough! Daily mini-cacpot and weekly challenge log are your friends here!

I believe it's up to 4 mounts now. Archon Throne, flying-spinning turtle, Fenrir, and the new "sprout" thingy. Might be more...I just know I need another 400k roughly for the sprout(it's 750k)

This one is a fairly easy way of getting a two-seater...only if you and your friend/partner are both willing to pay some extra money(or if one of you pays for both, that's an option). It's also something that I found out last night you can't make reservations for the ceremony on a Wed night. =/

Reaching level 60 doesnt take toooo long and since the option to get the title will most likely go away eventually, its worth looking into that in time, I reckon Main reason I mentioned it - if they wanna collect mounts, those are some they can miss out on if they dont get a title in time.

I'm wondering if those achievements will be locked down after they finally remove that priestess, or if it will stay forever as long as you have the title you're still eligible to get the mounts(even in the year 2025...if it's removed by then)
