Welp, I'm thoroughly convinced he's just a troll at this point.

The gathering bots are one thing, but trying justify the teleport hacks used by gil farmers as really bad lag is way too much of a stretch.

The BLM thing isn't a script, or a bot. It's a simple disable of a certain animation that allows you to hit those spells a little faster. It's easy to duplicate without script or bot software. Combine it with lowering your crits and alloting all points to spell speed. Really simple stuff. Simple enough that I'd call it a low level exploit, so easy, not even worth being called a hack. But most of the other stuff you're calling out is mostly BS.

Love how people see somebody stop due to lag, and watch them shoot across the map and scream hack, when, actually, internet traffic stops being received from the server for a sec or two, and when you finally do get a packet from the server, their position has changed, thus a character shoots across your screen at a rapid pace, or just disappears to re-appear somewhere else. That's lag through and through. Has been here since the internet, and if you quite honestly don't know what lag is, then you aught not to be playing games online.

There is an extreme difference between someone lagging, and the lag causing them to teleport slightly across a map, and a bot teleporting from one end of the map to the other side. Aside from the fact that a lot of bots teleport underground. Hang out in Thanalan or Horizan sometimes; you can catch the BLM bots in Horizan and near Thal’s Respite.

Yep, that's what I'm saying. I have 4 alts all with gibberish names because I don't feel like typing in random names for a half an hour because most are taken. I figure the names dont matter anyway b/c they aren't used in any social activities. I use them for their storage and extra retainers, b/c I don't feel like paying SE $2 per month per extra retainer. I will gather with them here and there and sell goods, because more times than not, My mains retainers are stocked to the max, using all 20 slots in each retainer that I own Main char retainers are almost always stocked to their max.

Well, just because you own 4 characters with names like Aalsdkjfoawief Gasoefijawe doesn’t mean that everyone else does. Also doesn’t make your argument correct, nor valid.

EDIT: As for your edited post that was calling everyone in this thread some very colorful language, there is a difference between phasing through a WALL PARTITION and a ROCK OUT IN THE OPEN WORLD. The latter of which requires hacking the game, which is against the TOS as much as botting scripts are.

Level 15 THMs cannot meld enough Spell Speed materia to go as fast as the level 15 bots do. Considering that gear have stat caps to prevent melding ridiculous amounts of it into a piece of gear, and materia have ilevel requirements on them preventing using higher grade materia on lower level gear.

You cannot be that dense. People aren't accusing the occasional lag teleport as bots but character models that run in perfect sync, to the same few nodes or spots on an endless loop. Another fun little factoid is you cannot normally phase through any solid surface outside your house. So you're either comically missing the point or perhaps trying to defend suspect activity. I wonder...

And your arguement is correct and valid? No, not so much. Alts in the way I described was and probably still is a very common and widely used practice in my old FC, which is the largest on hyperion. They were mostly old school legacy players like myself. As a matter of fact, I hadn't used alts in this manner until I joined them and saw them all doing it. If you want to lay the blame somewhere, then blame SE directly, because they're the ones who gave legacy, and legacy alone the option of having 8 characters per world, on all worlds.

And for the record, I've never once said that bots don't exist here. I never said that I tolerate them, or that I even like them, but because I throw my opinions out here, opinions that some people don't agree with, those people just up and insinuate that I'm a bot. That's uncalled for and utterly ridiculous! I know that there are bots out there. I think they should be delbt with, but I also know that SE has already done alot to get rid of the majority of them that were running around. Look at south shroud, at the big crowd that camps out there bc of potd. I've seen bigger masses of characters than that, with each and everyone of them having a sidfoadijf name, while being idle and having stayed there for days at a time, some of them weeeks.

Also, when I'm not playing, you will most likely see me standing by a node in idle. My character r ight now is parked in lavender beds, idling, even though I'm not playing. He's been logged in for 6 days straight. I don't bother with logging on/off anymore. I just minimize and come back a day or two later, and see that my character is still standing by t hat node Be it as it may, this does not define me as a bot. And I've gotten acccused of being a bot

Nobody said you were a bot until you decide to spit non sense and being agressive and ignoring everything people said or taking it for yourself, the topic start talking about real bots with a pic in OP post that you can't denied, and your first message is off topic talking about random real player with gibberish name that nobody care. Most answered you about real bots, and you again talk about yourself or talking about hypothetical people being accused botting.

You now say that bot exist, what people are actually talking about. Wtf is wrong with you? Nobody care about you idling somewhere for days or going in your wall in house.
We talk about bots underground, bots that still exist en masse. I see tons of them everyday going in place impossible to reach. So please, stop taking everything for you.
I use alt too for inventory, you don't need to be a legacy for that.
There is even videos of players being group with BLM in dungeons, TP around and killing everything underground to end it in 5min.
