I think you meant to reply to your other thread of shutting off as I said there's no way to shut off just the sound of the performance itself. Either don't go in the cities much, put on headphones or shut off the sounds from other players, it's literally the only option you have atm.

the heart of the issue, as someone stated earlier, is that this is new. we don't need an option just for bards. i mean, anyone could spam an emote near you and annoy you just the same. if you want to prevent people from harassing you, by any means, then that is the correct option; it's already in the game

... I could swear that Ifalna mumbles: "put a sock in it!" sometimes.
That's why I prefer casters: they are quiet...focused... deadly (esp when healers are mentally absent).
