Healer Drops in Alliance Raid

So I have run many Alliance raids, and I have noticed healer items rarely drop. I would say 1 every 6 runs, one gear for healers drop. I have run Void Ark so many times, wanting the robe....never got it.

What rate have you guys had, and is this very annoying to you also?

AFAIK it's on the same drop chance as the other stuff, so you could just be seriously unlucky. I've seen that happen before, to the point of absurdity.

The RNG is a fickle, annoying overlord, sometimes. There isn't much you can do but keep trying.

I see healer pieces drop frequently, but I don’t need them. I’m more interested in collecting more BRD items for when I get around to hitting 70 on it, but of course those are what I see the least of :P

Oh, yeah. Healer pieces drop whenever I go a non-healer class....so then I have to greed, and normally the healers need....

When u want something it never drops. But once u get the item, you see it all the time :S lol

I hate it. It's especially annoying when maiming gear drops when there are no DRG in the party.

I think that on that Rabanastre alliance with 23 healers and 1 tank dropped many maiming and striking gears.

RNGesus is a joker sometimes. Almost always, TBH.

On the flipside, the odds do get worse every time SE adds a DPS that doesn't share gear.

But yeah, RNG is RNG. Sometimes (very rarely) I see 3 healer drops in a run. Sometimes I'm lucky to see one.

Too true. It's also a thing with tank gear in there, since there's only one tank. I tend to greed that stuff for my PLD because it's relatively easy to get and will just rot otherwise.
