I trolled my first dungeoun on my alt the other day now before anyone gets up in arms hear me out. Snowcloak I get a healer a Mch and a BLM no problem right? No wrong.. I pulled the mobs I could handle with my tanks gear(was trying to get poetics to replace the inferior eq my tank had(they just barely met the ilevel requirment for snowcloak(didnt have the poetics saved up to get better straight off the bat since I had just finished decking out my healer job Anyways back on point. my limit in the gear was two mobs they tended to melt me fairly quick because the healer was deeps happy or really bored the Mch must have been ina hurry because they would run and pull even more mobs and expect me to get aggro from them. So as a bit of payback because at this point I was literally down to 10% everything on my gear because of super mob pulls (they need to fix that imo) I kept aiming the yeti where the mch was standing after getting one spriggan frozen. i still feel bad.

Had a great Ala Mhigo last night w/ a pug DPS and healer (the other DPS was a buddy I usually queue with).

Wall to Wall pulls the entire way, including the dog section. Healer was very good, contributed to DPS, and was on top of those heals. DPS was on point. Everybody was very nice.

At the end of the run, I comm'd the healer, my buddy comm'd the DPS, and we both left with comms as well. Feels good man!

But the kicker is no less than 18 people fell off to the second (single) void blizzard. Never been happier to take a penalty after all 8 tiles activated. To be honest once I saw that many people fall off I kind of just threw in the towel.

I've had this happen before, where a bunch of people fell off, but that was because the boss was on one end, the ice landed on the other, and most of the group just didn't have time to get over before they were sent flying.

I don't recall if we recovered that fight, though. I know I was still alive.

... I had a dun scaith of this exact description yesterday. Were there two paladins and a DRK? Tank is my worst job but I (the DRK) was forced to MT after they both immediately died to void death, and the rest of the fight went with everyone ignoring the adds.

I took a penalty so fast.

We finish kill the boss and thankfully the two other party members I was with help me out saying he told us its his first time here and so on... More insults get thrown around and Tank leaves just saying get gud...

What a horrible tank! I would have initiated a vote kick and sent a report about the comment on 2nd boss. Really great you had other party members to support you though! Experiences like these are a good reminder to all of us that when we see a player behaving badly against our team members, we should speak up.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but a player whos response to "Im new" is "dont suck" probly doesnt deserve it. We're in Shisui? My response would have been "No worries, easy dungeon. Do you want boss mechs?". A lot of people dont want bosses explained, so i dont do it unless they ask(and i know there are other people who dont automatically explain for the same reason). Besides that though, there are very few must follow or fail dungeon mechs - the aery comes to mind but not much else. And after that it sounds like he was just looking for you to mess up so he could give you shit. Lame behavior from a lame person. Thats what blacklist is for.
